FAA approves JetBlue purchase of 22 LaGuardia slots from Spirit

The Federal Aviation Administration has approved JetBlue Airways' acquisition of 22 slots at New York‑LaGuardia from Spirit Airlines, with a purchase price of 58.5 million US dollars. The airline may not trade the slots until April 2028, and the FAA has postponed the usage obligation to April 2027.
