Berlin will not extend the night flight ban at BER with the Brandenburg partner state, and the Brandenburg Verkehrsminister said nothing about a private jet ban demanded by the Berlin Left.

The new air‑traffic agreement between Germany and the UAE attaches strings: the airline using the new landing point cannot increase frequencies elsewhere in Germany, and regulations on fifth‑freedom flights also apply beyond Berlin; it is unclear whether Emirates, Etihad, Air Arabia or Flydubai will fly to Berlin.
