Terms of use
These terms apply when you use Terminair, free or on Pro. They are meant to be read. If something is unclear, write to us.
1. Who we are
Terminair is operated by App Dragons Ltd, a company in United Kingdom ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@terminair.com.
2. Using the site
You may read the site, use the terminal and share links to stories. Please do not:
- copy the site's content at scale, or build a competing product from it;
- use bots or scripts that put a heavy load on the site, or get around limits and paywalls;
- try to break, probe or overload the service, or reach data that is not yours;
- use the service for anything unlawful.
Search engines and assistants that follow our robots.txt are welcome. Feeds are for personal and professional reading and for feed readers.
3. Accounts
An account needs a valid email address. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used them. You can delete your account on the account page. How we handle your data is in the privacy policy.
4. What you read here
Most stories are compiled by AI from published sources and are not checked by a person before they appear. The editorial policy and how we use AI explain how. Stories can be wrong or out of date. They are general information, not professional, legal, financial, safety or operational advice. Do not use Terminair to make flight-safety or operational decisions; use the primary sources and the official channels for your operation.
5. Free and Pro
Reading the terminal is free. Pro is a paid plan, billed monthly or yearly through Stripe, with the features shown on the pricing page. A Pro subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; Pro then continues until the end of the period you have paid for. If a payment fails, Pro continues for a short grace period while the payment is retried. We may change prices or features for future periods, and will tell you before a change reaches you.
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom you may cancel within 14 days of subscribing and receive a refund, less the value of the service you have used if you asked for it to start straight away. To cancel or ask for a refund, write to hello@terminair.com.
6. Our content and publishers' content
The compilation, the design, the code and the stories we write are ours or our licensors'. Publishers own their own articles; we link to them and describe what they report in our own words. You may quote a short passage of a story with a link back to it, and share story links freely. For anything beyond that, ask us first.
7. What you send us
Questions you ask in Ask, and the choices you set in your account, are yours. You allow us to process them to run the service, as the privacy policy describes. Do not send anything unlawful or anything you do not have the right to send.
8. Links and services of others
Stories link to publishers and other sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they say or how they treat your data.
9. Our responsibility to you
We provide the service with reasonable care, and we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence and for fraud, or your rights as a consumer. Otherwise, and as far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business or data, and our total liability for anything arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or to GBP 100 if you paid nothing.
10. Suspension and ending
You can stop using Terminair at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or harms the service, and will say why unless the law prevents us. We may also change or end parts of the service; if we end a paid feature, we will refund the unused part of what you paid.
11. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters to you as a paying reader, we will email you before it applies.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear disputes, though if you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom you may also use your local courts, and you keep any rights that cannot be changed by contract.
