Aegean Airlines tops European safety ranking, Ryanair second

Aegean Airlines was ranked the safest airline in Europe with 89 points out of 100, while Ryanair placed second with 86 points and Austrian Airlines third with 85.5 points.

Norwegian ranked fourth with 85 points, SunExpress fifth with 84.5 points, and Iberia, Air France and British Airways tied for sixth at 83.5 points; Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines shared ninth place with 83 points each, and KLM was eleventh with 82.5 points.
