The co‑pilot of flydubai flight FZ1073 was enrolled at RMIT University in Melbourne but did not complete an engineering qualification. The incident involved a Boeing 737 that plummeted more than 14,000 feet in less than 30 seconds before passengers and crew stopped the attacker.
