Ryanair will operate 53 routes from Barcelona-El Prat and offer more than 3.6 million seats between the city and its destinations from the end of this month to the end of March, while also increasing capacity by 6 % for Madrid and raising frequencies on 20 connections. The airline is boosting capacity to Italy by 9 % and to Poland by 31 %.

At the same time, Ryanair is abandoning its Berlin flights to Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote, eliminating 700,000 seats compared with the previous winter and citing excessive access costs, high navigation and security fees, and the federal aviation tax as reasons for the cuts.
