Airbus delivered 72 aircraft in September, comprising eight A220‑300, one A319neo, 21 A320neo, 37 A321neo, two A330‑900 and three A350‑900.

In the first nine months of the year Airbus delivered 547 aircraft to 84 customers and is targeting about 870 deliveries for the full year. Seventeen aircraft were added to the order book, with fifteen A320neo for Air Cairo and two A321neo for FLYONE Armenia. Since the start of the year the company recorded 1,174 gross orders and 1,105 net orders. Biman Bangladesh finalized its order on 7 October and KLM received its first A350‑900 at Amsterdam‑Schiphol.
