Boeing withdrew its $4.2 billion purchase of Embraer’s commercial aviation division, a move Embraer’s CEO Francisco Gomes Neto described as ultimately positive for the company.

Embraer’s revenue has risen by almost $1 billion per year since 2022, ending 2025 at $7.4 billion and projected to reach about $8.5 billion in 2026; the firm plans to deliver between 80 and 85 commercial jets in 2026, with its E2 program serving roughly 25 customers and about 500 orders. LATAM received its first E195‑E2 on 8 November, has 24 aircraft ordered and options for 50 more, and the 136‑seat E195‑E2 sits below the capacity of LATAM’s Airbus A319, A320 and A321 fleet.
