Riyadh airport attacks cut outbound cargo capacity by up to 34% and halt some airline

Two attacks on Riyadh Airport on Thursday killed three citizens and injured others, and damaged a Saudia Group aircraft on the ground.

Outbound air cargo capacity fell 34% over 24 hours to 848 tonnes and 26% over 72 hours, while freighter‑only capacity dropped 10% outbound and 77% inbound over 24 hours and 32% outbound and 38% inbound over 72 hours; Lufthansa and Air India suspended services to Riyadh, and airport operations returned to normal by 6 pm local time.
