LATAM Airlines Brazil takes delivery of first Embraer E195-E2

LATAM Airlines Brazil received its first Embraer E195‑E2 on 8 October and expects the aircraft to enter service in November.

The airline has ordered 24 E195‑E2s, with twelve to join the fleet by the end of the year and the remaining twelve slated for delivery in 2027, and holds options on about fifty additional aircraft. The type will be fitted in a two‑class layout of 136 seats, including up to twenty premium‑economy seats and 116 economy seats, and the first fourteen will be deployed on 42 routes, covering eight new routes and four new destinations, as LATAM expands its domestic network from 44 airports in 2020 to 63 today and targets 70 airports by 2027.
