Ryanair announced two new routes from Cologne/Bonn Airport, launching a service to Tirana on 25 October and a service to Agadir on 26 October.

The Tirana connection will operate up to five times a week with a flight time of about two and a half hours, while the Agadir service will run twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays, taking roughly four hours; the airline also said it will discontinue flights from Bremen, Berlin and Hamburg this winter, and the airport’s CEO said the new routes strengthen Ryanair’s commitment to Cologne/Bonn.

Why it matters

The additions increase Ryanair’s capacity at Cologne/Bonn Airport while the cuts reduce flight options at Bremen, Berlin and Hamburg, affecting those airports’ traffic and revenue.
