Air Services (Guyana) plans to construct Guyana’s first fixed‑base operator facility at Georgetown Eugene F. Correia International, which will provide VIP lounges, ground handling, refuelling, flight dispatch and MRO services, with an estimated project cost of USD25‑30 million.

ASL managing director Mazahar Ally disclosed plans for an FBO at Georgetown Cheddi Jagan in March; ASL has added seven aircraft over the past two years to reach approximately 50 units, including C208 Grand Caravan, Britten‑Norman BN‑2 Islander, C172 and C206, and is expanding its helicopter and agricultural aviation fleets while increasing daily schedules by up to 30%.
