American Airlines to install Starlink on all mainline aircraft starting early 2027

American Airlines will begin installing Starlink on its entire mainline fleet of more than 1,000 Airbus and Boeing narrow‑body and wide‑body aircraft in early 2027.

Each aircraft will receive a Starlink Performance Aero Terminal capable of up to 1 Gbps, providing internet access from boarding to arrival for messaging, email, web browsing, video streaming, online gaming and remote work.
