LATAM Airlines Brazil took delivery of its first Embraer E195‑E2 aircraft on Thursday.

The airline has ordered 24 E195‑E2s with an additional 50 purchase options and expects a total of 12 aircraft to be delivered by the end of 2026, with service entry projected between November 2026 and March 2027. The E195‑E2 features a 2‑2 cabin layout with 136 seats, including Premium Economy and Economy, and will provide free Wi‑Fi for LATAM Pass members, access to LATAM Play, and USB‑C ports at every seat. Before entering service LATAM must obtain interior approval, certification from Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency and clear customs procedures.

CEO Jerome Cadier said the new E2 will help expand LATAM’s presence in Brazil sustainably.
