Aeropuerto de Cancún issues $1.8 bn senior notes due 2031 and 2036

Aeropuerto de Cancún, S.A. de C.V., a subsidiary of ASUR, completed the offering and sale of two series of senior notes, each for US$900 million, with interest rates of 6.711% due October 8 2031 and 7.491% due October 8 2036.

The 6.711% notes received a BBB rating from S&P Global Ratings, while the 7.491% notes were rated BBB+ by Fitch Ratings; both series settled on October 8 2026 and are expected to be listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited.

Net proceeds will be used to pay, prepay or refinance a 6.39 billion‑peso senior unsecured bridge credit facility dated December 5 2025 with ASUR US Commercial Airports, LLC and a US$1.299 billion senior unsecured bridge credit facility dated August 14 2026 with Companhia de Participações em Concessões.
