Flying Club points are earned by purchasing Virgin Atlantic fares with the frequent flyer number, except for some fare exceptions, and can also be earned on LATAM flights when the ticket is bought in selected fares and the loyalty number is provided.

Points can be transferred from hotel partners: Hilton Honors transfers 10,000 Hilton points for 1,500 Flying Club points; IHG Rewards transfers at a 10:2 conversion rate with a minimum of 10,000 points; Marriott Bonvoy transfers at a 3:1 rate with 5,000 Virgin extras per 60,000 points; World of Hyatt transfers at a 5:3 rate with 7,500 bonus points per 50,000 points. Flying Club also earns 2 points per US$1 spent on IHG hotel stays, except Candlewood Suites® or Staybridge Suites® where it earns 1 point per US$1.
