British Airways has unveiled new cabin interiors for its refurbished Airbus A380 fleet and expects the first completed aircraft to enter service in the coming months.

The retrofit programme will install more than 35,000 individual parts on each aircraft and new seats across all four cabins, including larger entertainment screens, wider seats and improved bedding in the World Traveller economy cabin, larger screens, privacy wings, new bedding and a reusable amenity kit tote bag in the World Traveller Plus premium economy cabin, and an updated Club Suite with a contemporary palette and additional storage in Club World business class, which will feature 106 seats on the upper deck, described as the world’s largest business class cabin; the overall seat count will be reduced by 11% from 469 to 417 seats, with economy seats dropping to about 215.
