Houthi attacks targeted Riyadh airport, killing three Saudi citizens and injuring several people, while a separate attack at another airport killed a Moroccan woman and an Algerian woman and damaged a plane that had no passengers on board.

Around 300 flights to Riyadh have been cancelled, and airlines including Lufthansa, Air India and Philippine Airlines do not fly to the city, with KLM having suspended service since August because of Middle East unrest.
