Lufthansa adds seasonal Frankfurt‑Nagoya and daily Frankfurt‑Narita flights for summer

Lufthansa Group will resume a Frankfurt‑Nagoya service on three days a week and launch a daily Frankfurt‑Narita flight from late March 2027, using Boeing 787‑9 aircraft.
Frankfurt‑Nagoya service
Lufthansa will resume its Frankfurt–Nagoya route on a seasonal basis, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 29 March 2027. Flight LH736 departs Frankfurt at 14:10 (2:10 p.m.) and arrives at Chubu Centrair International Airport the following day at 09:35, while return flight LH737 leaves Nagoya at 11:30 and reaches Frankfurt at 18:30 (6:30 p.m.). The outbound flight time is 12 hours 25 minutes and the inbound time is 14 hours.
Daily Frankfurt‑Narita
A daily Frankfurt‑Tokyo‑Narita service will start on 28 March 2027. Flight LH710 departs Frankfurt at 13:45 (1:45 p.m.) and lands in Narita the next day at 09:30, with the return flight LH711 leaving Narita at 11:20 and arriving in Frankfurt at 18:40 (6:40 p.m.).
Aircraft and capacity
Both the Nagoya and Narita routes will be operated with Boeing 787‑9 aircraft fitted with the Allegris cabin product, offering 28 business‑class seats, 28 premium‑economy seats and 231 economy seats, for a total of 287 seats per aircraft.
Weekly flight totals
Lufthansa Group plans to operate up to 50 flights per week to Japan during the 2027 summer timetable, an increase from about 39 flights per week at the end of September and early October 2026.
