From 15 October 2026 the two carriers will let customers book eligible India‑Singapore flights on each other's platforms, covering 126 weekly services, with reciprocal frequent‑flyer perks to start in 2027.

Standalone booking

From 15 October 2026 Air India and Singapore Airlines will allow customers to book eligible flights between India and Singapore operated by either airline on a standalone basis through the other carrier’s website, mobile app and appointed travel agencies.

From October 15 customers can book flights operated by either airline through the other’s sales channels on routes between Singapore and eight Indian cities.

Flight coverage

The change covers 126 weekly flights between Singapore and eight Indian cities: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata and Mumbai.

Codeshare requirement

The requirement that an Air India‑operated codeshare flight booked through SIA must include an SIA‑operated flight, and vice versa, will be removed from 15 October 2026.

The requirement for a codeshare itinerary will be removed on eligible services from October 15.

Loyalty benefits

Enhanced reciprocal benefits for Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer and Air India Maharaja Club members will begin during the second quarter of 2027.

From the second quarter of 2027 eligible Maharaja Club and KrisFlyer members will receive additional reciprocal benefits on qualifying routes.

Commercial framework

Singapore Airlines and Air India signed their Commercial Cooperation Framework Agreement in January 2026.

Nipun Agarwal, Chief Commercial Officer, Air India, said the cooperation reflects the airlines’ shared focus on providing greater choice, convenience and value to customers travelling between India and Singapore.
