Airbus delivered 72 aircraft in September, bringing its total deliveries for the year to date to 547, which is eight percent higher than the same period last year when 73 aircraft were delivered in September.

The company aims to reach 870 deliveries by year‑end, compared with 793 deliveries last year, and will need to deliver about 320 aircraft in the fourth quarter to meet that target; September also saw 17 gross orders placed.
