China will resume exporting refined fuels after a brief pause during the early‑October National Holiday, with the government approving exports of diesel, gasoline and kerosene totalling about 3.7 million tonnes for October.

In September Chinese refineries exported just over 4 million tonnes of refined fuels; the country had begun restricting fuel exports in March to secure domestic supply, relaxed those controls between July and September, and did not give large refineries clearance to export outside Hong Kong and Macau during the holiday week.
