QantasLink took delivery of its first Embraer E190, VH‑E9A, after a 20‑hour ferry flight that covered six sectors from Norwich to Perth via Sofia, Dushanbe, Kolkata, Johor Bahru and Broome.

The aircraft, previously operated by KLM Cityhopper as PH‑EZC, is the first of up to 14 E190s that Qantas plans to use to progressively replace Network Aviation’s aging Fokker 100 fleet, while Network Aviation continues to run around 120 charter and passenger services each week to more than 25 destinations across Western Australia.
