Boeing Global Services is offering a drop‑in replacement for the 737 Control Display Unit that uses an AMLCD touchscreen and copies the alphanumeric layout of the original unit.

The new touchscreen TCDU does not redraw the flight management system or replace the computer behind it, and it can operate with both the legacy GE FMC and the newer Boeing Flight Management System, provided the aircraft carries a matched pair of the same FMC type and the emulated keypad matches the unit being replaced.
