Jazeera Airways CEO Barathan Pasupathi said the airline transported about 300,000 passengers while Kuwait International Airport was closed for 57 days.

The carrier operated 1,500 flights and used 450 buses to shuttle travelers between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia’s Qaisumah Airport, where it relocated its operations centre and set up a temporary terminal with roughly 1,000 seats; of its 22 aircraft, 20 were based in Saudi Arabia, and it obtained a licence to operate there as Jazeera Saudia.
