LATAM Airlines took delivery of its first Embraer E195‑E2 aircraft today, marking the start of a batch of 12 that will arrive before the end of the year, with the remaining 12 scheduled for delivery in 2027.

The September 2025 agreement covers a firm order of 24 E195‑E2s with 50 purchase options, valued at roughly US$2.1 billion, and includes four new routes from Guarulhos to Rondonópolis, Ji‑Paraná, Cabo Frio and Macaé, with seven weekly flights to Rondonópolis and four weekly flights to Ji‑Paraná and Cabo Frio beginning in December.
