Romania signs contract for 12 Airbus H225M helicopters

Romania signed a contract for 12 Airbus H225M helicopters to replace the IAR-330 Puma in its air force, concluding the deal with France’s DGA under the EU SAFE programme.

The agreement also includes two H215M helicopters in a naval configuration, and Romania has recently added seven H160 and five H145 helicopters to its fleet.
