Virgin Australia teams with Pinterest for 2027 Pride Flight theme and events

Virgin Australia announced a partnership with Pinterest to define the official theme of its Pride Flight returning in 2027, with the theme to be revealed in December 2026, and the flight will depart from Melbourne and Brisbane at a fare of $289 one‑way in Economy.

Pinterest Predicts will let guests create mood boards and plan their Pride looks before take‑off, while IHG Hotels & Resorts will serve as the official accommodation partner, offering a 15 percent discount to eligible Velocity Frequent Flyer members across its brands, and bookings have opened for two events on Saturday 6 March 2027 – the Bero Drag Brunch at 11:45 am costing $119 per person and the Virgin Australia × Kinselas Parade Viewing Party at 6:00 pm costing $265 per person.

Andrew Cleary, Virgin Australia’s chief customer officer and Velocity Frequent Flyer CEO, described Pride Flight as a home‑grown idea and said the airline aims to make the 2027 edition its biggest yet, and the airline will donate $10,000 to The Pinnacle Foundation.
