Archer Aviation’s Midnight eVTOL completes piloted 40‑mile round‑trip in California

Archer Aviation announced that its flagship eVTOL, Midnight, completed a piloted round‑trip flight between Salinas and Hollister, California.

During the flight Midnight reached 125 mph, cruised at 3,550 feet, covered more than 40 miles round‑trip and each leg lasted 12 minutes; the company holds roughly $1.6 billion in cash and equivalents and reports a quarterly burn rate of $200 million.
