René Obermann left the Airbus Board of Directors on October 1 to focus on his role as Non‑Executive Director and incoming chairman of SAP’s Supervisory Board, while Amparo Moraleda assumed the chair of the Airbus Board on the same date.

Christophe Fouquet, CEO of ASML, was co‑opted as a Non‑Executive Director for the remainder of Obermann’s term, and Mark Dunkerley was designated to serve as Chair of the Remuneration, Nomination and Governance Committee and Lead Independent Director, succeeding Moraleda in that capacity.

Jean‑Pierre Clamadieu will not seek a new mandate at the 2027 AGM, and Florent Menegaux, CEO of Michelin, will seek a three‑year mandate as a Non‑Executive Director at that meeting; Oliver Zipse, former BMW Chairman, will seek a renewed mandate at the 2027 AGM.
