Shree Jagannath Greenfield International Airport project gets CRZ clearance

The proposed Shree Jagannath Greenfield International Airport at Sipsa Rubali mouza along the Puri‑Brahmagiri road has received Coastal Regulation Zone clearance.

A total of 1,164.754 acres has been acquired for the airport, comprising 221.891 acres of private land and 942.863 acres of government land, and the project will displace 129 families from Sipsarubali and Sandhapur mouzas who will receive Rs 5 lakh in housing assistance, more than Rs 3.39 lakh for new‑house construction, Rs 1.13 lakh for shifting assistance and Rs 54,300 in livelihood support.
