Biman Bangladesh Airlines placed an order for ten new aircraft, comprising four Airbus A350‑900s and six Airbus A321neos.

The airline plans to deploy the A350‑900s on long‑haul routes to North America, Europe and the Middle East, while the A321neos will provide greater flexibility and efficiency on regional and medium‑haul flights. Airbus states the A350‑900 can reduce fuel consumption, operating costs and CO₂ emissions by up to 25% compared with older generations, and the A321neo can cut fuel use and emissions by at least 20%.
