An IndiGo Airbus A320-251N (tail VT‑IQZ) on flight 6E925 from Patna to Lucknow was struck by lightning while on approach to Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport and landed safely at about 4.04 pm, eight minutes before its scheduled 4.12 pm arrival.

The strike caused visible damage to the nose radome, which was noticed after the aircraft cleared the runway; pilots reported the event to air traffic control as a precaution and the plane was subsequently grounded for detailed technical checks, while all 104 passengers and six crew members remained unharmed.
