Landing and immediate impact

The Airbus A320‑251N landed safely at Lucknow airport at about 4:04 pm, eight minutes ahead of its scheduled 4:12 pm arrival. Visible damage was limited to the nose radome, which became apparent after the plane cleared the runway.

All 104 passengers and six crew members were unharmed.

Post‑landing actions

The aircraft was declared Aircraft on Ground and taken out of service for a detailed technical inspection. Engineers carried out repairs before the plane could return to service.

India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation was informed and launched a probe into the incident. IndiGo arranged a replacement aircraft for a subsequent Lucknow‑Ahmedabad flight, which departed around 6:22 pm.
