Air Canada switches Toronto‑Manchester service to 787‑9 and adjusts frequency

Air Canada will operate its Toronto Pearson‑Manchester route with a Boeing 787‑9 starting 1 May 2027, replacing the previously planned Airbus A321XLR.

The airline schedules three weekly flights on the route from 1 May 2027, increasing to four weekly flights from 5 July 2027, after having previously scheduled one daily flight with an A321XLR; its initial filing for a Toronto‑Stockholm service shows an A321XLR from 1 Oct 2027.
