Singapore Airlines is spending S$1.1 billion to install new cabin products on 41 Airbus A350‑900 aircraft, while American Airlines is overhauling 20 Boeing 777‑300ERs and raising the number of business‑class seats from 52 to 70 per jet. SWISS introduced its Senses business‑class product in late 2025, offering five distinct seating options and independent seat heating and cooling.

On a standard London‑to‑New York transatlantic flight, business‑class ticket revenue almost matched economy‑class revenue. Qatar Airways’ Qsuite, launched in 2017, has won Skytrax’s Best Business Class award every year since 2017 except 2020. Emirates pioneered sliding doors in business class in 2003, and JetBlue became the first airline to introduce sliding doors in business class in 2014.
