Delhi airport international traffic up 0.8% to 8.62 million in April‑August 2026‑27

Indira Gandhi International Airport handled 8.62 million international passengers in April‑August 2026‑27, a 0.8% increase from the same period a year earlier.
Traffic from Asia Pacific grew 11.4% to 3.57 million, while the Middle East saw a 4.1% decline to 2.37 million; Europe was up 0.9%, and North America and Africa fell 26.2% and 10.9% respectively.
The airport’s current annual passenger capacity is 106 million, with plans to raise it to 125 million under the latest master plan.
