Demolition crews clear vacant homes near Rochester International Airport runway

Demolition crews worked on Beahan Road in Chili near the west side of the Rochester International Airport runway on Tuesday afternoon.

The vacant homes, owned by Monroe County, were bought for around $335,000 based on an FAA security recommendation, and county leaders said the demolitions pose no environmental threat.
