Boeing received a seven‑year contract worth $14.7 billion to increase production of active radar seekers for the Patriot Advanced Capability‑3 (PAC‑3) interceptor, matching Lockheed Martin’s plan to raise finished missile output from 600 to 2,000 per year.

The deal creates 7,200 direct and indirect jobs and involves 400 suppliers across 37 U.S. states and five other countries, with up to 12 PAC‑3 MSE missiles able to be loaded on a single ground‑based launching station.
