The US Coast Guard reported finding a debris field off the coast of Nantucket on 3 October 2026, confirming it was associated with the missing Gulfstream G100 registered C‑GRJP. The field was about 20 miles from the island, according to a local news report.

The Coast Guard’s update said the search covered 1,644 square miles over approximately 27 hours. Other outlets reported that the rescue operation lasted 66 hours and spanned more than 4,400 miles.

Passengers and crew

Six people were aboard: four Canadian nationals, two Bermudian nationals, two pilots and two medical staff. The Bermudian passengers were identified as Marilyn Lavonne Bean, 66, and her son Sergio Wayne Lottimore, 41. The four Canadian passengers named were Philip Gregory Childerhose, Thomas Henry Farquhar, Sarah Jane Paton and Jolene Beth Weir.

Investigation

Canada’s Transportation Safety Board and the US National Transportation Safety Board are assisting with the investigation, while the Canadian Transportation Safety Board will lead the inquiry.
