flydubai ULD partnership

flydubai signed a long‑term agreement with Unilode Aviation Solutions to provide full unit load device (ULD) management services for its passenger and cargo freighter operations. Unilode will deliver an outsourced ULD management programme that includes specialised boxes and pallets for flydubai’s forthcoming wide‑body Boeing 787 Dreamliners and future fleet expansion. The provider will supply, maintain, repair, plan, reposition and digitally track the ULDs for the airline.

Dubai Airports electricity reduction

Dubai Airports reduced electricity consumption by 144.72 GWh compared with its 2019 baseline, as measured in June 2025. The reduction is part of a sustainability programme that includes a 45 MWp rooftop solar installation across Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC).

Renewable fuel and waste management

A 5 % biodiesel blend was introduced across airport and partner vehicle fleets. Seven food‑waste digesters at DXB can process a combined 4,900 kg of food waste per day. The airport’s food‑waste diversion rate reached 76 % in 2025 and achieved 100 % diversion in May 2026.

Learning, development and accessibility

Dubai Airports delivered 24,115 learning hours in 2025 through learning and leadership programmes to 1,531 employees and extended development initiatives to 17,349 service partners. Accessibility training was completed by 52,619 learners across 14 partner entities, and 36,040 sunflower lanyards were distributed to support passengers with hidden disabilities. Eight dedicated services for People of Determination were offered at DXB.
