Anduril has committed $3.7 billion to build the Arsenal‑2 facility at Tradepoint Atlantic in Sparrows Point, Baltimore County, and the U.S. Navy has awarded a contract worth up to $2.9 billion for Virginia‑class submarine components.

The 187‑acre site, covering more than 2 million square feet, is slated to begin initial operations in 2030, will supply parts to General Dynamics Electric Boat and HII Newport News Shipbuilding, and is projected to create 3,100 direct jobs and generate $2 billion in annual output, with Maryland and Baltimore County planning to support up to 13% of the private investment.
