Lufthansa, Air France‑KLM and Air India have suspended flights to Riyadh, and ITA Airways has suspended its Riyadh flights until 16 October inclusive.

ITA Airways also suspended flights to and from Dubai until 30 November inclusive; on 8 October at 19:45 Riyadh airport recorded 331 flight cancellations, representing 41 % of scheduled flights, with additional cancellations reported in Gedda and Dammam; the US embassy warned that US government employees need special authorization to use Riyadh airport and should stay away from the Yemen border.
