Since March 2026 Emirates SkyCargo has introduced seven additional weekly freighter flights to South America, comprising three to Buenos Aires, one to Bogota, two to São Paulo and one to Quito, and in May 2026 added a sixth weekly frequency from Quito that provides a total export capacity of 600 tonnes per week.

The carrier reports export growth of 57% in Argentina, 22% in Brazil, 18% in Colombia and 14% in Ecuador, having moved close to 80,000 tonnes of perishables—including 66,000 tonnes of flowers—since April 2024, and transporting more than 22,000 tonnes of export cargo, an 18% increase over the same period last year; it has also facilitated about 60,000 tonnes of exports from Ecuador, over 90% of which are flowers.
