FIATA launched its 2026 Market Report, which is based on responses from 111 freight forwarding and logistics professionals across 46 territories and all four FIATA Regions.

The report identifies geopolitical tensions as a top factor likely to shape the industry, notes that digitalisation continues to reshape supply‑chain planning and management, and says respondents see growing importance in resilience, connectivity, regulatory efficiency and data‑driven operations. It also highlights a focus on trade‑corridor diversification, multimodal connectivity and freight forwarders’ efforts to develop alternative routing, strengthen regional and interregional links, and improve operational visibility across modes and borders.
