Europa Air & Sea says freight rates from the UAE to the UK remain particularly high and continue to affect supply chains, while businesses trading with India face changing schedules, constrained capacity and broader regional disruption.

The value of goods traded between the UK and India reached £17.3 billion in the four quarters to the end of Q1 2026, of which £6.3 billion was UK exports, and 90 percent of UK goods entering India will be duty‑free or subject to reduced tariffs under the agreement.
