Air Peace took delivery of an Embraer 190 jet on 7 October 2026, with the aircraft landing at Terminal 2 of Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos at about 5:00 p.m., piloted by Captain (Mrs.) Ibironke Rotimi‑Olajide.

The new jet raises Air Peace’s Embraer fleet to 18 aircraft and marks the airline’s eighth aircraft acquisition in 2026; it was named after Mrs Eka Sunmonu, the first aircraft the carrier has named after someone outside the founder’s family.
