Grob G 520 Egrett arrives in Tulsa for Red Man Aviation modifications

The Grob G 520 Egrett arrived at Tulsa Community College’s Riverside Community Campus and Aviation Center on Tuesday, where Red Man Aviation will perform instrument and airframe work on the aircraft.

Only four of the early‑1990s‑built Egrett aircraft exist; it is certified to fly at 50,000 feet and has reached 53,000 feet. Red Man Aviation plans to modify its instruments and airframe and explore weight‑reduction options, with the aircraft expected to stay at the campus for about 90 days while work is completed.
