Volotea suspends multiple routes and cancels hundreds of flights through March

Volotea suspended the Asturias‑Palma route on 4 October, the Asturias‑Fuerteventura route from 10 October to 6 February (with Christmas exceptions), and the Asturias‑Madrid route from 2 November, with the latter expected to resume on 8 January. The airline also removed four winter connections from Lanzarote to French cities Brest, Bordeaux, Strasbourg and Toulouse.

From Bilbao, Volotea cancelled more than 350 flights scheduled until March on eight routes, including Gran Canaria, Tenerife Sur, Murcia, Naples, Athens, Rome, Venice and Florence; cancellations exceed 80 flights each on the Naples, Rome and Venice routes, about 40 on Tenerife Sur and two on the Florence route.
