AAI to commission second hydrological study for Chennai airport T5 corridor

The Airports Authority of India and the Tamil Nadu government met to discuss the alignment of an elevated vehicular corridor linking the proposed T5 Terminal with NH32 near Madha Engineering College at Chennai airport.

A second, detailed hydrological study will be carried out by Anna University after an initial study showed no impact on Adyar River flow, and AAI will seek further approval from the Water Resources Department before proceeding.
